Welcome to Intentions
Where women come to heal, feel whole, and embrace their power.
You deserve to feel at ease — in your body, your mind, and your life.
If stress, anxiety, or lingering tension has been weighing you down, you're not alone. Maybe the tightness in your neck and shoulders feels relentless, or the mental exhaustion seems impossible to shake.
But here's the truth: healing is possible.
You have the power to reclaim your calm, your strength, and your sense of well-being — and you're already taking the first step by being here.
If you're ready to ease the burden, reconnect with yourself, and feel whole again, welcome. You’re exactly where you need to be.
Welcome from Rachel and Juliet, The Queens of Intentional Healing. (Yes....we need a better picture, but that was such a great day so we love this one)
Hazel will also be there to welcome you to Intentions! She is our adopted stray Emotional Support Cat. She loves to greet you and then run off and play with her toys. She had a tough story and is happy to now be the official mascot for Intentions.
(She is not allowed in the treatment rooms so if you are allergic you won't be bothered.)
We specialize in Medical Massage designed to ease tension headaches, neck and upper back pain, and the physical toll of stress and anxiety. Every session is tailored to you, blending multiple techniques to release pain, melt away tension, and help you feel truly cared for. Our goal is simple: to help you reconnect with your body, find real relief, and leave feeling lighter, stronger, and more at ease.
How Massage Therapy Can Help Ease Anxiety and Panic Symptoms
When you're living with anxiety or panic, your body often carries the burden — holding onto tension, pain, and the constant stress of being in "fight-or-flight" mode. Massage therapy offers a powerful way to break that cycle.
Through gentle, intentional touch, massage helps your body relax, releasing muscle tension, easing pain, improving circulation, and increasing flexibility. But it does more than just loosen tight muscles — it calms your nervous system, inviting your mind to let go of anxious, fearful thoughts.
When you experience anxiety or panic, your fight-or-flight response becomes overactive, preparing you to react to threats that often aren't really there. This heightened response can cause overwhelming physical symptoms like shortness of breath, a racing heart, excessive sweating, or chest discomfort — even when you're perfectly safe.
Massage therapy helps activate your body's natural relaxation response. As your muscles soften and your breathing slows, your heart rate can settle, tension can ease, and you can begin to feel calmer, safer, and more in control.
With consistent care, massage therapy can become an important part of managing anxiety — helping you reconnect with your body, feel more grounded, and reclaim a sense of peace in your daily life.
At Intentions, everything we offer is designed to help ease the stress and tension that can make daily life feel overwhelming.
We've created a space that feels welcoming, relaxed, and comfortable — a place where you can simply be yourself and let your worries melt away.
We deeply understand how challenging social anxiety can be, and how hard it can feel to relax in new environments. That's why our space is intentionally warm and non-clinical — so you’ll never feel out of place here. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, your comfort, safety, and sense of well-being are at the heart of everything we do.
While we're not mental health therapists, we're always here to listen.
If you need to vent about your day, family challenges, or anything on your mind, we’re happy to be a safe space for you to share. Sometimes, letting it all out in a peaceful, non-judgmental environment can feel much better than carrying it home. And if you'd rather simply relax and unwind in silence on the table, that's absolutely fine too.
Your comfort and well-being are our priority — however you need to show up.
We know life can be hectic, and self-care shouldn't feel like one more thing to add to your to-do list.
That's why we’ve made it easy for you to fit us into your busy schedule. With online booking and flexible hours, scheduling your appointment is simple and stress-free. Our true passion is serving others, and we take pride in creating a laid-back yet professional atmosphere where you can truly feel at ease.
We don’t believe in the “massage mill” mentality of rushing clients in and out. To us, you’re more than just a client — you’re part of the family. That’s why we typically only see three to four clients a day, ensuring that we can give our full attention and energy to each session.
If you're unsure about which session is right for you, we’re always happy to chat by phone or email to guide you in choosing the best option to meet your needs. (Please note it may take us a few days to respond.)

Massage Therapy is Essential, Not a Luxury
Stress is America's #1 health problem.
The medical community is finally recognizing that 80-90% of all illnesses are stress-induced. As a result, massage therapy is no longer considered a "luxury" — it’s now viewed as a crucial part of preventative care in your overall health regimen.
Taking time for massage therapy isn’t just a way to treat yourself; it’s a proactive step toward better health and well-being.
Incorporating Massage Therapy into Your Health Maintenance Plan
Making massage therapy a regular part of your routine can significantly enhance your emotional and physical well-being. You’ll feel better, function better, and those around you will notice the difference too.
And don’t be fooled — even a "fluffy" relaxation massage is more than just a luxury.
Relaxation massage plays a vital role in reducing stress and its physical symptoms. We often have negative associations with the word "relaxation," sometimes even equating it with laziness. This misconception has been passed down through generations. The truth is, managing stress and easing the tension in your body allows you to accomplish more — and do it with greater ease.
If you want to achieve more, you need to take care of your most important asset: your mind, body, and spirit.
Still not sure about if massage will help? Here are a few facts
If you have any medical conditions you aren't sure that would be compatible with massage please call and ask. Certain conditions need to be cleared with your doctor or specialist prior to the session.
We look forward to meeting you! Thank you for taking the time to visit.
